DAY 2

We didn’t waste any time. Right after work we headed over to the house to begin planning for this massive renovation project that we just took on. The first thing Kevin did was pull out his knife and begin ripping out the old green carpet in the living room and the uneven, sloping wood floors in the dining room. Our mom’s began cleaning the dirty shutters… but how cool that the house came with new windows and plantation shutters? Can’t complain about that!

We didn’t even have the electricity turned on yet, so our neighbor kindly ran an extension cord from his house to ours so that we could at least power some overhead lights.
